Our Story

We are a Libertyville-based cafe dedicated to serving food, specialty coffee, cocktails and more to our wonderful community. Every dish on our menu and cup of coffee we serve is created with care.

Our name, Anam Cara, means “soul friend” in Gaelic. And we consider anyone who walks through our doors our soul friends, whether we’re meeting for the first time, or have known each other for years. Our space is meant to foster great conversation, laughter, and time spent with friends—old and new.
